The watermelon was delicious. The rind was destined for the composter, and Joel surprised me by chopping it into cubes… which makes the process of decomposition move along much faster. I went outside through the kitchen, looked down, and there it was... my photo, I laughed out loud when I saw the rubber doormat under my feet, below the clear bowl filled with squares of pink and green. I later showed the image to Alex... she said, “that’s trippy!"
