CRUSHED
A heart broken into bits, reassembled.
If I didn’t have your photograph in front of me, to look at, would I remember you by what I see inside my head or, would it be the face that lives in my heart… in that muscle that holds you? My lungs breathe your laughter, my eyes keep your smile… if you only knew, maybe you wouldn’t have gone, or maybe you did know, but still you couldn’t stay.
Ingredients: eggshells from Annabelle’s chickens, spent butterfly pea flower tea
